Physical therapy is a healthcare service that uses specially designed exercises and equipment to regain or improve physical abilities that were lost or impaired due to injury, disease or deformity. Physical therapy treats a wide range of injuries and conditions. Some of the benefits of it’s use are increased mobility, reduced pain, regained range of motion and increased strength. Physical therapy is a proven form of pain management that helps injured individuals on their road to recovery.

We will never put you in a position that compromises your health by rushing you back to work. When our doctors send patients back to work, we want them to be 100% recovered.

Pain management is a form of treatment used to help reduce or relieve pain that is caused from an injury. Notable forms of pain management include, but are not limited to, pain medications, topical solutions, physical therapy, certain exercises, yoga and therapeutic massages. At MedPartners, Inc. we understand just how difficult and frustrating dealing with an injury can be. That’s why we take great pride in the services that we offer. Our medical professionals excel in the treatment and handling of each individual patient and work in unison with the injured party to develop pain management routines that are right for them.

Our physicians specialize in diagnosing and treating all types of pain. In order to do so they are trained to listen closely to your needs and have training in specific areas of pain relief.

Diagnostic testing is performed to confirm and/or determine the presence or exact location of an injury or condition. Some examples of diagnostic testing are CAT scans, x-rays, MRIs and ultrasounds. The need for these diagnostic tests is determined by our clinician’s evaluation on the injured individual, each case may vary.

For the purpose of diagnosing, monitoring, screening and prognosis, diagnostic tests are essential to your case. Before this step is taken a medical professional will evaluate and prescribe the test necessary to make a diagnosis or to include/exclude possible illness or injuries.

Range of motion is a measurement of movement around a joint.  ROM consists of a series of tests performed to analyze and evaluate how much mobility an injured individual has in their affected area. Range of motion is a great way to track your progress on the road to recovery. At MedPartners, Inc. our main goals are to make sure that patients are improving as time progresses.

When we refer to Range of Motion, it is not just the movement around your joint. Our physicians try to learn how the injury affects your daily tasks and how it will affect you in your future performance.
